We have to add a fee for all nondisabled guests because of changes with the economy and the cost of living increases. We cannot confirm your reservation until the guest payment is received. The fee of $10 per guest is non-refundable. If you cancel, the money will be donated to DITW for future events.

The Door In The Wall is currently looking for vendors to help support our organization during our holiday celebration for people with a disability.
- For profit vendors $100.00 and a raffle basket donation.
- Nonprofit vendors a raffle basket donation of $45. value or higher.
- We will provide a table, 2 chairs, and Christmas table cloth.

DITWTEXAS EVENTS
May 15 & 16, 2026 Anglers on Wheels
- Anglers On Wheels is a fishing tournament for fishermen with a disability and up to three of their friends or family members. There are two tournaments a year: the third weekend in May and the third weekend in September.
- Reservations are taken on a first come first serve basis. You must make a reservation for this fishing trip because space is limited. If you do not get a confirmation after a couple days from our staff please give us a call.
- Fishermen are responsible for their own motel accommodations.
- The fishing boat is a converted ferry boat that is completely wheelchair accessible and covered to keep off the hot Texas sun. There is a bathroom on board.
- Bait, tackle, and deck hands are available to help you free of charge. There is a tip jar on the boat if you would like to help out the crew members that are volunteering for this event.
- An ice chest with free drinks will be on the boat or you are welcome to bring a small ice chest on board. Remember space is limited.
- Fishing poles are limited Every fisherman with a disability will have a pole first. Some able bodied members in your group may not get a pole. You can bring your own pole. check with the crew regarding tackle that is allowed. No casting from boat.
- Texas Parks and Wildlife provides a free fishing license for every participant that will be passed out on the boat.
- Event T-shirts will be passed out when checking in at Woody's Last Stand, where The Island Queen II is moored or at the Saturday Barbecue.

This free holiday celebration is for people with a disability and their immediate family members (limit 4) This event includes a free holiday dinner, a visit with Santa, live country western band, amazing desserts, plus other surprises. Location: Cowboys Dancehall, 3030 NE interstate 410 Loop, SAT 78218 1-5pm
